Our Mortgage Fees
Whether you are a first-time buyer, moving home or simply wishing to take advantage of a more competitive rate, it is important that you have the right mortgage in place.
We offer mortgages from the whole of the marketplace to meet an array of needs and circumstances: the employed and self-employed, Help-to-Buy, buy-to-let, self-builds, holiday homes in the UK and abroad, expats and commercial.
When you get advice from Firco Mortgages you pay for our advice on the products we recommend. These charges can be seen via the links below. You will receive a personalised illustration which sets out how these charges apply to your specific mortgage from your Firco Mortgages advisor prior to you making an informed decision.
You will always know our fees before you make a decision to proceed. We don’t hide our costs and have a transparent charging structure, so you can be sure we are working efficiently for your benefit.
£195.00 of this is payable on submission of the mortgage application to cover all research, advice and recommendations, with the balance of £200.00 payable on receipt of the mortgage offer to cover the application and implementation of the loan.
£195.00 of this fee becomes payable up front on submission of a mortgage application to cover all research, advice and recommendations, with the balance of £355.00 is payable on receipt of the mortgage offer to cover the application and implementation of the loan.
There will be an administration fee for processing your application. Our typical charge is 1% of the loan amount subject to a minimum of £1,500. This is paid in three stages:
- £750 on application to cover all research, advice and recommendations
- 50% of the balance paid on receipt of a full mortgage offer or equivalent to cover the application & due diligence checks.
- The rest on completion to cover the implementation of the loan.
On a £500,000 mortgage for example; £750 on application, £2,125 on offer and £2,125 on completion.
Please note complex or commercial cases may incur a higher fee.
£250.00 of this is payable on submission of the mortgage application to cover all research, advice and recommendations, with the balance of £400.00 payable on receipt of the mortgage offer to cover the application and implementation of the loan.
We don’t tend to publish mortgage rates on our website. In most cases rates are negotiable and based squarely on the individual circumstances of the borrower, their plans, assets and income.
